Online/Chile – Procemin-Geomet

It is the last chance to register for the 17th international Procemin-Geomet conference, an important global event centered in South America that will take place online from October 20-22, 2021.

The technical program includes four short courses as well as more than 65 technical presentations on demand. Content will be available on demand for three months. You can register for the conference here.

Online/Australia – Iron Ore Conference

AusIMM and CSIRO’s Iron Ore Conference will take place online and in Perth, Australia from November 8-10, 2021.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Sustainability in a Changing World’, and it will explore the latest developments in the genesis, geology, exploration, mining and processing of iron ores, bringing solutions to address the carbon footprint of iron and steel mining.

Online/Australia – International Future Mining Conference

AusIMM and The University of New South Wales’ International Future Mining Conference will take place online and in Perth, Australia from December 6-8, 2021.

The conference theme is ‘Future Mining, Building Tomorrow’, and the organizers said it has a “unique ability to create a global discussion platform attracting multidisciplinary groups”. Attendees will be able to explore the performance of advanced technologies integrated into mining operations, and sustained innovation with a focus on shaping the future of mining industry. Canada – CMP 2022

The Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP) 54th annual Canadian Mineral Processors Operators Conference will take place in Ottawa, Canada from January 18-20, 2022. The submission deadline for papers has now closed.

Online/Australia – IMARC

The International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC), which was postponed from 2021, will now take place online and in Melbourne, Australia on January 31-February 2, 2022.

The event organizers said that IMARC “is where global mining leaders connect with technology, finance and the future”. The conference program covers all aspects of the mining supply chain, from exploration to investment, production to optimisation through to new technologies and global opportunities. It will also feature discussions on health and safety, renewable energy, critical minerals, and sustainability

US – MINEXCHANGE 2022

The Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) MINEXCHANGE 2022 conference and expo will take place in Salt Lake City, US on February 27-March 2, 2022.

The event theme will be ‘Social License: Mining for the Future’. The call for abstracts has now closed, and the program for the technical sessions will be released soon.

Online/Australia – IMPC 2022

AusIMM and CSIRO’s International Mineral Processing Congress (IMPC) 2022 will take place online and in Melbourne, Australia on August 21-25, 2022.

IMPC 2022 will explore themes such as sustainability, automation technologies and approaches, and processing improvements; meeting industry challenges such as balancing evolving automation and digitization technologies and extraction techniques for addressing grade reductions and ore variability.

Online/Australia – HiTeMP-3 Forum

The High Temperature Minerals Processing (HiTeMP) Forum, run by the University of Adelaide’s Centre for Energy Technology (CET), will take place online and in Adelaide, Australia on September 26-28, 2022.

The HiTeMP Forum engages key stakeholder groups to develop synthesized perspectives of emerging drivers, technologies and opportunities to further decarbonize energy-intensive, high temperature process industries.

The organizers said it will build on the outcomes of the previous forums and identify the next steps for decarbonizing heavy industry. World-leading experts will participate in the discussion to further shape a carbon-constrained future and prepare for the new, low-carbon economy.
