"Helping to Reduce Mining Industry Carbon Emissions" Paper Receives Highly Commended Recognition
CEEC International: Coalition for Minerals Efficiency (CEEC) has recognised a paper titled "Helping to Reduce Mining Industry Carbon Emissions: A Step-by-Step Guide to Sizing and Selection of Energy Efficient High Pressure Grinding Rolls Circuits" with a Highly Commended recognition for the 2022 CEEC Medal.
Although the paper did not receive the CEEC Medal, the Highly Commended recognition highlights the valuable contribution of the researchers to the field of eco-efficient practices. The paper provides a practical guide to the selection and sizing of energy-efficient high-pressure grinding rolls (HPGR) circuits, which can significantly reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in the mining industry.
The author of the paper, Stephen Morrell, expressed his gratitude for the recognition of his work. "I am honoured to receive this highly commended recognition from CEEC. My paper aims to provide a practical guide for industry professionals to implement energy-efficient HPGR circuits and reduce their carbon footprint."
The CEEC Medal and Highly Commended recognition are awarded annually to papers that contribute significantly to the understanding and implementation of eco-efficient practices. Mr Morrell’s paper "Helping to Reduce Mining Industry Carbon Emissions" has made an important contribution to this field and his work is highly valued by the CEEC community.
