Global from Canada – Call for papers for CMP 2022

The Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP) has issued a call for papers, posters, master classes and panel discussions for the 54th annual Canadian Mineral Processors Operators Conference that will take place from January 18th-20th, 2022 in Ottawa, Canada.

With borders set to open across Canada soon, the CMP expects there to be an in-person aspect to the conference. However, since nobody knows yet what the limitations and restrictions will be for the size of the event, or what travel restrictions will be in place, the CMP is working to plan a hybrid conference where virtual delegates will be able to attend presentations, short courses and, hopefully, the poster sessions.

Canadian Mineral Processors 1st Vice Chair Andrew Taylor said: “COVID-19 has changed the face of the industry and the way in which we hold conferences; the Board and Executive of the CMP are working to leverage the good and manage the challenges.”

If you are interested in contributing with a paper or poster, or have an idea for a short course or panel discussion, you can contact Andrew Taylor at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The submission deadline is September 30th, 2021.

The CMP is also trying to determine how many members plan to attend the conference in person so they can plan appropriately. If you plan to attend in person, let the CMP know by taking this survey.
