CEEC CEO Alison Keogh interviews Marc Allen, Director of engeco and author of a new independent report commissioned by the Weir Group that examines direct energy use and emissions from mine sites. The report focuses on five major commodities – copper, gold, iron ore, nickel and lithium - and draws from over 40 published studies.
Marc is a chemical engineer who has worked on mineral processing plants across industries, including the mining industry and has been on the CEEC Board since 2018.
At the time of the interview, Marc was based in Singapore and is now based in Perth, Western Australia.
Marc specializes in energy, greenhouse gas management and climate change strategy and has been doing so since 2007.
