Adding Value through Comminution and Beyond - CEEC seeking operational, installation and improvement stories

CEEC has recently visited a number of facilities to talk to companies about their latest installations and developments. In tackling the challenges, and pushing for enhanced productivity and reduced power and water consumption, what solutions are being implemented, for comminution and beyond?

Every mine has different needs and a greater awareness of different solutions will help those mining teams consider options and make informed choices. Value can be found not only from comminution circuit design and operation, but also through mining and pre-concentration processes upstream of comminution and new advances downstream of comminution.

It is also important to develop robust metrics and analytics that inform you across the mine to product process in an integrated approach. Exciting developments in smart data approaches are occurring. We hope by sharing a wide range of success stories and options, you can improve your understanding of where to target your improvements.

CEEC will continue to share with readers not only comminution advances and improvement success stories, but other examples of recent installations and improvements upstream of comminution and across mineral processing, where productivity, efficiency, power or water improvements can be made. Often an improvement upstream can greatly improve recovery, reduce waste or reduce energy through the plant, or in the comminution stage.

A series of posts will highlight installation improvements, drawing from the global mining industry including CEEC sponsors and Energy Curves participants, not only in comminution but also in other parts of the mining process: to help us help you add value through comminution and beyond.

Do you have an operational improvement story? Do you have a case study that can inform and inspire others? We want to hear about more inspiring improvement and innovation stories and ensure they are shared, through publications and through updates to our case studies library.

Let us know if you have a success story to share: email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

And don't forget, published papers and documented case studies suitable for technical review can be emailed to CEEC's Technical Review Committee for consideration to upload to the CEEC website resource centre.
