A CEEC International Director recently attended the PDAC Convention in Toronto from March 5-8, 2023. The PDAC annual convention is held in Toronto, Canada, and attracts over 30,000 attendees from more than 130 countries. Since its inception in 1932, the PDAC Convention has continued to grow and evolve, and this year hosted more than 1,100 exhibitors and 2,500 investors.
The attendance at the conference highlights CEEC’s commitment to promoting eco-efficiency and sustainability in mineral processing and mining practices. CEEC International: Coalition for Mineral’s Efficiency (CEEC) is a volunteer-led initiative which is focused on improving energy efficiency and water utilisation across the global resources sector.
The PDAC Convention provided a unique platform for CEEC International to engage with industry experts, share knowledge, and promote best practices for sustainable mineral processing. Their presence at the conference underscores CEEC's continued efforts to highlight sustainable growth, best practice and innovation across the minerals value chain sector.
CEEC International encourages all participants and stakeholders in the minerals community to join the conversation on all sustainable mining and processing practices, particularly energy-efficiency and water-efficiency in comminution, processing and tailings management.
