South Africa: IMPC 2020 abstracts about to close!

South Africa

Abstract submissions for next year’s International Mineral Processing Congress (IMPC) in South Africa close on 30 September, 2019.

The Congress - to be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from October 18-22, 2020 - will explore innovative technologies and practices to help the industry navigate social and environmental pressures now and into the future.

Its organisers, the Southern African Institute of Mining and International Mineral Processing (SAIMM), expect to attract 1000 professionals and academics from more than 50 countries.

Technical streams for the conference include bio-processing and the sustainable development of mineral resources.

Organisers have called for abstracts of between 50 and 300 words in the general area of mineral and metallurgical processing. While all abstracts of technical merit are welcome, abstracts which tie in with the congress theme of resilient futures in mineral processing will be considered for one of 12 technical workshops.
